However, the person said something about "cheques", which means this could be from a Canadian employee - probably either the Vancouver or Toronto office. Given all the crap that has taken place with the integration of Exult Canada and Hewitt's Toronto office, and given the extreme flakiness of the posting, my guess is that this is a Vancouver associate. But, in defense of Vancouver associates, I don't think this is a genuine posting, but some prank posting that utilizes a stupid stereotype of people from Vancouver.

How about a little old-fashioned Hewitt Benefit of the Doubt here? I've personnaly received several American Express Gift Cheques in my years at the firm (and yes, they are spelled Cheques - try searching the Amex web site). In IS I know of several associates who work part or full time from home, although the full-time associates are more of an exception. For most of us, we don't have the opportunity to work from home, but don't be so fast to dismiss the possibility that those situations exist. I'm envious of at least a handful of them...
