Oh man after all these years people still come on here to defend this craphole!
Actually I am not convinced that they are actual real people, rather HR drones or owners that are trying to save the place.
Folks if you are worried about people coming on some message board and firing off than you have more serious problems that need to be dealt with.
Hewitt financials now suck! And you know what? I am GLAD! Earnings is like an early Christmas for me. The way this 'company' practices business and what it has done to so many good people is sickening. These owners get what they deserve.
I think you are all screwed now. I think you blew it trying to sell to someone. Face it folks the economy is pretty strong and if you can't make money in this enviorment you certainly won't be able to find someone who will want to buy you.
Stop squandering in your negativeness.... lol! Sorry that kills me.
Oh btw I am NOT squandering in my negativeness I am squandering in your companies lameness... see I left about a year ago. LOL!

I watch this damn board like watching a car wreck. The crap that gets spewed here is unbelievable.
It's sure nice to know that less than 100 associates out of 20000+ have the time and inclination to post either side of the story -- and that they even think their postings carry any influence. I don't know why I even bother to post because I'm going to get flamed by those of you who can't fathom why anyone would even like working at Hewitt. Well, gang, I do and I don't work in HR and they don't tell me what to post.
I swear, you'd think that you were all chained to your desks in some dungeon. Get a life! If you hate your job so damn much, go out on Monster and get a new one! If you put the half the effort into looking for a new job that you do in venting your spleen here, you'd have a new job and you could shake the proverbial dust from your feet.
Do you people have any idea how juvenile you sound? How petty? How spoiled?
Oh, and our financials... OMG! geez... abandon hope all ye who enter here! Yes, Dale and the gang missed again. Guess what? That may be the last chance that he gets to predict the financials. And if you actually looked at the numbers, you'd see that they are modestly on track -- heck, they even say we're on track for the AI payout. Now I'm not gonna go out and buy that plasma TV on that advice, but we aren't exactly losing money quite yet.
Am I wearing the cheerleading skirt? Hell no. Our leadership has not exactly proven themselves to be good leaders in the midst of enormous change. They have lost virtually all credibility with the associate population. The engagement numbers show that. But many of us do give a damn about the job we do and we're tired of listening to those who no longer give a crap about the company, their co-workers, and our clients.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. You own your own destiny. You can wallow in self-pity and place blame on everyone else or you can own your life and your career. I've made job changes four times in 20 years after college. I looked for better opportunities or better companies. I've worked in a couple really crappy places. But I owned my own life and my career and made changes that were better for me at times of my own choosing. And even with everything going on the past couple years, I'm still in the right place for this point in my career. My resume is current and I take a look at Monster now and then and if a headhunter or recruiter calls, I'll listen. But until I walk out that door, I'm going to do my best work for my own sake and for our clients.
It's your choice. The door opens both ways. Don't let it hit you in the ass on the way out.
