In Reply To: Step Up. Tomorrow. AliceCoop: I have watched you move from topic to topic throwing in negative comments with no real point nor supporting information. I realize how easy it is to sit behind a Vault identity and make "tough guy" comments (e.g. Fire my a$$). But the bigger action would be for you to step up and out from behind your Vault identity, walk into your manager's office, and simply quit. I for one do not want your negativity in the organization when we have critical battles to fight in order to continue defining the market. As a long time associate, I have also struggled with some of the changes. We can argue about which were needed, but the fact is change was critical for our long-term success. But more than being upset with the changes, I am embarrassed that we have associates that have such a narrow and short-sighted view. No doubt the firm has seen better days on the associate engagement front. But each associate can choose to either 1) do nothing, 2) be a part of making it better, or 3) sit back and complain. You have chosen 3. I am choosing 2 and hope that many others will join me. Regardless, we should expect better than this sophomoric behavior from the people we work with. I would encourage all of you who are willing to sit around and complain, to do all of us a favor and take your talent to another organization. Please. For those on the fence, I hope you will stay and work toward the brighter days. But to all: if you choose to stay, please stop whining. And if you feel the need to respond to this message in a negative manner, I would remind you of my earlier request: please take your talent to another organization. I am sure you will be a superstar. Sorry your talents weren't discovered here.
Message: Go do your Hewitt cheer crap somewhere else.
