I have worked in the benefits industry for a long time and have been very successful in my career. I have read all the posts on this board.
Hewitt does provide a job and nothing more.
Feedback is 180, not 360. Management style does not allow for anyone that has not been with the company for a long time to make an impact. It has been my experience that management is trying to hold onto a dictatorial style that does not allow for any possible changes. I have provided a number of suggestions that have worked on much bigger clients than the ones I work on at Hewitt and the ideas were not looked at. When the client was in worse shape and they brought in a senior resource to help, a majority of the suggestions I made before all of a sudden became viable. The only diversity that Hewitt does not wnat is diversity of mind...
