This is quite fascinating!! The same elements and tools used to control people in fanatic religious cults are used at Hewitt to "manage" the associate population. Granted, these techniques are used to some extent in nearly every large corporation, but this has been particularly true at Hewitt for at least the last ten years. I don't think it's purposeful, just an extension of executive management's own limitations - this is the only way they know how to manage people. |
