Message: The interviewing technique is called "behavioral interviewing". Google that. Essentially, you're asked open-ended questions about how you have dealt with a particular kind of situation. Depending upon the focus of the interview team, they will concentrate on certain traits or behavioral competencies that they find valuable for the role. They might ask you to talk about a situation where you dealt with a difficult project. They might ask you about a time when you failed and how you dealt with that. The number of areas of focus depends upon the number of interviewers and the traits that the interview team wants to bring forth. The bottom line is that they want you to open up and give a fair amount of detail about the situations -- an answer of "yeah, I've done that" isn't sufficient.
