No, you're right ananhewass. That's why Hewitt's engagement score is at 34 and some regions are in the teens. I remember when Hewitt's engagement was in the 50's, and some regional management people were whispering that that was one of the lowest scores within the Fortune 500, let alone in a consulting firm. Now the score is in the 30's. I also remember when the score was in the high 70's. Hewitt was a good company then, not now.
HRO_Newbie, run far far away from this company. Come back when engagement gets into the 60's. In other words, if the company lasts for five more years, come back and see if the people are at least somewhat engaged. If they are, then re-apply. |

People are forgetting that the old scores you quote are on a different scale. Hewitt changed the scale a year ago and it now (conveniently) produces higher scores. The 30s that are now calculated would be 20s under the old scale, meaning engagement is even lower on a relative scale.
