HA used to be called the "Cadillac of Benefits," now we are called the "WalMart of Benefits" thanks to our Indian counterparts and leadership. Did anyone read about Citibank's issues with India and identity theft? India has a technology privacy act but there is no system to check employee backgrounds. We are just hiring people in India to fill spots more cheaply(regardless of quality, ethics or skills). We have been outsourcing there for a few years now and they still don't understand how to CORRECTLY do the work. Sorry - but 2-3 years of incorrect work has more issues than a "learning curve." This was a mistake to send work there regardless if leadership is ready to openly admit it or not. |
