I was hoping to find out some of the career opportunities in the field of health care. What do most people do in this field? What kind of degrees are usually needed for this field, MPH, MD, MBA, etc, and what are their parts in the field. Lastly, what are the levels of heiarchy for salaries and positions.
Also, if someone is knowledgeable about consulting. What is the nature of work for a healthcare consultant and their typical education background?
I am graduating from undergra. with a life science degree and am wondering how to combine it with perhaps a business or law degree and work in the field of health care or biosciences.
Any thought or advice would be greatly appreciated!

If I were to narrow my focus to healthcare consulting focusing on emerging technology that would impact the industry, such as having had experience from a non-profit, think tank, which companies should I look into for a consulting positions?
