I am currently on my way to law school, but was also accepted to Columbia for Post Bac. I applied not believing that I would be accepted and now I am confused on the right path for me. I have been out of school for two years and working in the legal field. I sincerely want to "help people" in my life, but am not sure the best path for me to do so. I will incur immense debt whichever path I take and that scares me...any info on Columbia post bac and which path I should take would be most helpful.
Thanks in advance for any help you all provide. Best of luck to everyone!!

You can "help people" from almost any professional field and you can be a money-grubbing social malcontent from any professional field as well. Look at the day-to-day interactions and activities and choose what you feel suits your intellectual and personal interests best. You'll be best suited to "help people" if you're in a career that excites your interests and passions on a day to day basis, as you'll be better at it. What you do from there is more a matter of personal orientation and social conscience than a given job description.
