Thanks to alejandroMD and poison for the advice. I have come to realize that MD/JD is most likely not in my future. If I do complete a dual dergee while in medical school, it will be MD/MBA or MD/MPH. I am really interested in health care administration (i.e. I would like to be Chief of Staff at a major hospital someday). Any ideas on how chief of staff's are chosen? Does the prestige of one's residency/medical school/undergrad institution factor into the equation? TO what extent? Thanks to all... |
