Over the last ten to fifteen years in the healthcare business the "recruiter" atmosphere has changed. I found myself talking to more experienced individuals because the money was there to sustain healthcare oriented search folks. We have gone through and will continue to go through a lean time making it more difficult to make a living searching and matching job candidates. With the growing nurse shortage it would be nice if life would improve for those of us in nursing. The jobs are directly linked to reimbursement trends example: Home Health, Case Management. It is very difficult to judge the integrity of a recruiter who you never meet except over the phone. Many of us have had very poor experiences relocating with the lure of money and the press of a recruiter trying to earn a commission. Networking professionally is your best bet. |

Not all Recruiters main intent is the lure of $$. Integrity and commitment to good work ethic takes a professional a long way!
