I'm an undergrad. nursing major. I'm wondering what the hospitals (or other nurse employers) think are the most important when they employ nurses? School? GPA? or what?

They only care if you have a heartbeat and willing to take the risk of caring for too many patients. Stay away from any Tenet or HCA facilities. Your best bet if you want to work in a hospital is a teaching hospital or private owned.
