Recently at Arrowhead Regional medical center in California the acting Ceo decided to make a name for himself. While other hospitals are increasing their security programs due to the shootings at a hospital in Anaheim California, Our hospital has decided to cut the program to save a small amount of money. The program has been cut so bad that there is at more times than not only 1 officer to cover the entire 75 acre area. This is viewed in the industry as very dangerous to staff and visitors. The name that this acting CEO will make for himself is FOOL. If safety is an issue for staff and patients alike it is adviseable to stay away from a hospital that does not care about the safety of its patients and staff but cares about the almighty buck. Arrowhead Regional Medical Center located in Colton CA. |

The date of the incident listed in scared ll's reply was incorrect. The actual date of the original three incidents was in fact 11/4/99.
The subsequent media coverage with statements from hospital administrators occured on 11/5/99 with additional screenings on 11/6/99.
State inspector(s) were informed that there were ten to twelve security personnel on duty. Actual security personnel on duty totaled eight. Due to recent budget cuts, twenty seven uniformed officers were placed on indefinite layoff, as a result, unskilled maintenance personnel were utilized in the search for the alleged suspect.
Staffing was slight at best allowing for very limited initial response while the second and third assaults were made. In addition, communication errors delayed additional response.
One month has passed since the cutbacks were initiated.
