I suffer from Fibromyalgia and Arthritis. Have been classified a chronic pain patient. On medications like Duragesic Patch, Amitriptyline, Vicodin.
These have helped me get back my life. But it took me 2 years and LOTS of doctors before finding one that would even THINK about giving me pain medications for PAIN conditions. Anyone else finding they can't get medications for pain even though they have been diagnosed as a Chronic Pain patient? Just wondering how many of us out there are being told that there is nothing but anti-depressants, anti-inflammatories, etc. by doctors that are supposed to be TREATING our conditions. |
