After graduating with honors from a top medical school in 1997, I pursued 3 years of general surgery training, also at a top hospital. After much contemplation, I have decided that I no longer desire to be in medicine and am looking for a career change that will allow me to use the knowledge I have gained, and not have to build up again from ground zero. Any suggestions of industries or companies to investigate? I live in New York and want to stay here.
Also, any advice on which management consulting firms might look kindly on M.D.'s?
