Emotional inntelligence is overblown as a discipline which is why it's a natural fit with us at Hay. We're full of it. |

If you want to read some cool stuff about emotions, check out Antonio Damasio's stuff ("Descartes Error" or "Looking for Spinoza"). He is one of the top neuroscientists in the world and a very good writer.
Daniel Goleman made his name by synthesizing and simplifying a broad body of recent work related to emotions; including Damasio's work.
I'm curious, does each Hay office have an emotional intelligence practice, or is it concentrated in Boston? Does everyone receive training in it, or is it a sub-specialty that only a few people are involved in? What about Chicago, any emotional intelligence practice there?
