When I went to HR, the girl there would listen to what I had to say, looking at me like I had two heads or something, and commenced to do nothing. "Managers Discretion" is their cop-out phrase. HR has no more authority than anyone else to do something. As for a lawsuit, keep in mind that if you're in the NRO, Pennsylvania is an "at will" state. You can be terminated at any time, for any reason - or no reason at all.
Now unless you have a solid title-7 claim like age discrimination or something similar, you're wasting your time. |

You are so correct about Pa. They can say they don't like your shirt and you are out of there. I'm hearing more and more from GCA about how bad it is. What about other areas. Anyone have any areas that are good to work for? Or is it just the whole TM thing? I can't believe that no one cares enough to do something. That they think they can keep this up. Its really depressing.
