I think trust has been gone since the first group reorganization efforts in the mid-90's. Management spent time creating lists of people to be terminated rather than focus on the changing the business model so that Guardian could meet market demand with profitable products. I can't tell you how many thousands of manhours were spent looking at Guardian processes or organizational models with almost zero time on asking customers what they wanted.
For all of you who have been hurt by Mother Guardian in the past few years, I think you can blame the board who let a great company slip into oblivion.

It's amazing to me that people have never blamed the people who make the decisions on why Guardian is the way it is now. When Art ran the company, it was a family. Joe was a sleeper and Dennis is too busy wondering what his retirement package is.
