Really? I would have thought that it was one of the better run operations, unlike Group, where the problems seem unsolvable, and they should just sell the Group business to a larger company. |

the b/d is Park Ave Securities - they do have a decent book but no where near industry leading. most of the reps are insurance guys and when they changed over to the Park Ave in - i think- it was 1997 (1998?) it went from GISC to Park Ave they started opening up to investments outside the Guardian line up - The mutual funds are very very weak... to say the least and the annuities are average but fall behind the pack with the rest of the industry...
