I'm an in-charge auditor at a small cpa firm (around 30 professional staff and 6 partners). In small firms, the audits are pretty monotonous so I don't feel that I'm growing as an auditor. I think I would learn a lot more at a larger firm like GT where there is probably more planning, risk assessment, and professional judgement, but honestly, I'm afraid of the change. I really need your honest opinions about working as an auditor at GT. Is it good experience? Are you always learning? Does anyone think to themselves, I have really learned a lot from this firm and I could probably tackle anything because of it. All input is appreciated. Thanks |

my name is jordan, my mom works at grant thornton, she is happy, she used to work at today realty advisors. she worked a lot there like a whole whole lot. but she is now at grant thornton and loves it, although she still works a lot. she has to travel a lot. we live in the dallas area and she had to fly out to austin today and then she comes home tonight then she is going to drive to shreveport. insane huh? oh well
