After spending five years in private accounting - I'm now in my 4th year with GT. It's been a tremendous experience and I can't say enough about the people I work with and the client experiences that I have had. Of course, there are always the tough clients and the real a-hole Managers...but on the whole, GT has been tremendous.
You could easily make the transition to GT from your current firm.
If you would like more information, please shoot me an e-mail. Include your resume and which location you are looking to work in. I've worked in the NYC offices since I started.

I noticed your message said you worked in the NYC offices. I currently work at a smaller tier accounting firm as well and was considering the move to GT. I noticed on GT's website that they have two city offices and 1 Long Island office. Can you tell me what the atmosphere is like at the LI office? I currently live on LI and that office would be my preference from a commuting stand point. Could you also comment on what the social life is like at GT. For example, at my current firm, we often have pizza parties and icecream socials on a monthly basis. Does GT do anything like that and if so, what are some of your favorite events?
