Is it possible to transfer out of research and into IBD at the end of the summer as a summer analyst? I heard the mobility at GS is better than every other firm. |

Are you asking as to whether you can be a Summer Analyst in group A, and after the end of the summer get an offer for full time from group B? If so, I would guess that this is not very likely to happen. You would usuallly get a full time offer from the group you "trialed" in. I heared though that after you work full time for some period of time in one group, you can ask to move to a different group. Does anyone know how long this period is? Is it 9 months? Is this period the same for all group in GS?
