juniors don't usually have any industry experience so first round interviews for summer at goldman tend to be fairly technical, since they want to weed out the people who can't cut it right away. goldman has often done brainteasers in first round too, including mental math (perfect squares, 2x2 multiplication), as well as brainteasers of the "what angle does the minute and hour hand make at 3:15"
second rounds/super saturday will be more behavioral with the typical goldman "teamwork" questions and fit questions. expect a lot of "why goldman" as well. |

had a fairly different experience for the 1st round (my 2nd round is tomorrow)...
1st round was very behavioral, very fit... only one mathematical question, and that was it
so i'm assuming tomorrow will be a very technical superday.
