The townie cops at the University I attended enjoyed busting college kids for some reason, and I ended up getting charged with indecent exposure for urinating behind a bush. These are the kinds of cases that are usually dropped, but in my case I received a summary offense ? nice huh.
Here is my question. This stupid offense did not show up when my current employer ran a criminal background check, but my friends tell me that if I apply at a company that does a fingerprint test then it will show up.
So I would like to know if Andersen Consulting (not AA) runs fingerprint checks. If I have to explain what happened I will, but I think with a pool of hundreds of other applicants I?d rather not. So if anyone who was recently hired at Andersen (or any consulting firm for that matter) tell me what kind of checks were run on them and if they were fingerprinted, I?d appreciate it immensely. |

I was fingerprinted after accepting a job offer at E&Y. It may be differant at companies that are not accounting based.
