As a current ECLP finishing up my 4th and final rotation, I would say that you should temper your expectations before coming on. GE is a meritocracy and as such, even though you will be a member of a premier training program within the business, it does not buy you any favors. While on program you will not have any direct reports, and you will not have any management responsibilities (at least not any lasting more than the 6 months of the rotation). However you will get a great view of the company and set yourself up for a really good position off program. If there is an industry or business that you feel you need to be in immediately, then this is not the program for you. |

Sarge,
many thanks for the insight.
Can you provide any further info on what type ofprojects/work is assigned- is it meaningful or just to keep you occupied, also what input do you have for your next rotation(s) and what formal developmentdo you get is it classroom based ?
thanks again
