I was not at motivated and aware of options leaving college as most on this board. I was completely unaware of the different LP's available and took a job as a general code monkey for a GE joint venture. The location was in a very low salary market and I've been dying every since. GE already pays their 1-5 year employees rather poorly.
So finally to my question- is it true that the fastest way to increase your salary is to leave the company for a short period and then go back?
