Congrats on the offer!
While I am still a junior in my undergrad, I intend to apply to the FMP program next year. Can you tell me a little about the recruiting process?
Also, I know it is competitive but what is the ballpark GPA range they consider for the application.
My freshman year was a relatively low GPA but I have two solid internships and hopefully will have something else this summer.
Best Regards,

Officially, they will consider anybody with >3.0. However, the lowest person whose GPA I'm aware of in the FMP program has a 3.6. Keep in mind that there are many other factors that are important (particularly w/e, leadership experiences, and target/non-target school). I went to a non-target, so I can't comment on the "normal" recruiting process. If you aren't at a target school, I would suggest tracking down GE recruiters (even in other areas like engineering) and seeing if they can forward your resume on to the right people. Of course, you want to apply online, but you can't rely on that to get you an interview. Getting solid internships is an excellent start; I think you'll find that leadership experiences in clubs/extracurrics and w/e outweigh academic brilliance in the recruiting process. Also, highlight any language skills/substantive foreign experiences.
Best of luck!
