I too went through the typical phone interview and onsite wringer. I was truly disappointed when I saw that everyone interviewing me was going over my resume for the first time while I was sitting accross from them.
Besides the lack of preparation on their part, all the interviewers seemed to be running around like chickens with their heads cut off. For a minute there I was wondering If I was caught in the middle of a fire drill.
It's been more than a month and HR couldn't even send a simple email saying "thnkx but not interested". I highly recommend Eli Lilly, dont bother here. |

I also had a phone screen and in-person interview with Genentech recently for a Software Engineer position. There were five people who interviewed me and I felt that the interview(atleast the technical part) went well. I haven't heard from them after that. I contacted the HR but no reply.
I would atleast like to hear a sorry but we don't have a position for you now reply.
