I work at a relatively conservative brand management company. However, I think i've been there long enough - and have found enough friends and allies - to come out. my question is: how do i reveal the truth without sounding pushy or scary? I know the process isn't risk-free, but i'm unsure of how to proceed. How have others "come out?" |

Revealing the truth is not being pushy!! The process of coming out at work is definitely not risk-free. Start by telling those closer to you. You will feel more comfortable. If you say you have made friends as well as allies, then they should have no problem with who you REALLY are-GO FOR IT-if they are not accepting,you don't need them as allies!
