Sales compensation for Consultants and PM's |

I am interested in any creative or traditional ideas of sales-based compensation for consultants or project managers in the IT Consulting industry. I am currently a project manager/consultant that also has MBO's (manage by objective) targets each quarter that max out once met and are very binary - yes/no. I am looking to understand more about a compensation model that takes into account additional comp. incentive for managing/owning opportunities and driving new business with financial success.
