I contacted Gallup in mid-january after 3 rounds of phone interviews assuming I had been dinged.
They informed me that their 2006 budget was not what they were expecting for the ELProgram and that their would be a moratorium on hiring until at least February or March after which, they would return to their list of "recommended" candidates from their earlier interviews...
My friend, who was also interviewing w/ Gallup, received the same information only after contacting their head-office in Omaha.
The woman we spoke to told both of us, independently, that she "thought she sent out an e-mail in december explaining the situation" but clearly it was never sent...
For what it's worth... |

After (Three Phone Interviews...and..) 5 weeks of patiently waiting... and after calling the recruiting department and them saying that my interview is being transcribed, 'bare with us, this is a good sign....' NO DICE. I just got the (not so..) nice email saying thanks for waiting patiently for us to tell you aren't getting the job. SIGH..
