What is the best way to get involved with the large structured deals (ie. syndicated loans, asset lending, large credit facilities, etc.) Can it be done outside of the 5 or 10 largest banks? Could one go to Nat City, PNC, MandT or does one need to go through DB, ABN, JPM, Citi, SG, etc. |

The banks you mention do the syndicated deals but sporadically and usually they do them for middle market companies. You might try Wachovia, BofA and BankOne as other possibles.
I am in a credit/lending function and have seen deals agented by these banks. Although now with the merger of BofA with Fleet there may be more middle market deals ageneted by BofA.
