In Reply To: Already starting my 2nd year as a business undergrad at a supposed prestigious b-school by Canadian standards. The course material is dry, the students are nerdy type A personalities and the overall atmosphere stinks. Coming out of grade 13...I thought this was what I wanted to do. Excelled in all the business related courses. Top of the class in economics and finished first in Accounting. When I got accepted to this school, it seemed like a great oppurtunity and made perfect sense in terms of my career and life plans. Two years down the road, I feel like a different person. I'm not as competitive academically, lost that hunger and drive I used to have. Starting to thing this isn't what I really wanted but simply jumped on the bandwagon. Perhaps I was thinking about my future only in terms of the financial prospects. What can I do at this point? Is there any point in transferring somewhere else? Is swtiching majors a good move or simply a comp out. I'm stuck at a crossroads here, any advice is appreciated, thanks.
Message: If you lost the drive, get out sooner rather than later or it will be that much tougher... -D
