I'm in the middle of a very competitive interview process for a financial advisory position at a top firm. I have all the right education, contacts, experience but so does everyone else that's made it this far. Any tips? |

I have worked seven years for top-tier IBs and consulting firms. My best advice (whether you are a man or a woman - does not matter!) is to dress conservatively, exude confidence (even if your stomach is in knots), and be concise in your responses to interview questions. Also, if the position is for sales, it's important to show that you have what it takes to gather assets, grow accounts, and keep customers from going to the competition!
