Congratulations on the second interview (I think :-) )Unfortunately, there aren't many opportunites once you've obtained your licenses. Most do fly the coup once they get their licenses. You could move over the Brokerage dept. However, that's pretty much the same job, you're just dealing with the retail customers as opposed to the 401(k) customers. The company does appear to make every effort to promote from within, however, they also will hire from outside the company. The culture here is o.k. Definitely not stodgy or anything like that. Somewhat laid back. It's a typical call center. Management is always concerned about the call volumes so you're expected to be on the phones while you're hear. |

Thank you for your help I decided not to take the position... for other reasons that came up in the second interview...I just did not think it would be a good fit for me in that department, especially since the management mentioned that here were layoffs earlier this year and they said people didn't move up as quickly as they did about 5 years ago.
