Another example of "it's not who you know, it's who you blow." Who's to say that a degree from an Ivy League school is any guarantee of future success? A degree from a lesser school teaches the same principles (I know, I've been to both) and the smaller school may actually teach more with more contact from faculty to reinforce what is taught in the classroom. I think some of these "heads in the clouds" employers should consider students from some of the smaller schools and they will realize that there are a lot of smart people outside the prestigous Ivy League type schools.
