I'm in my third week as a financial services representative at MetLife and I was looking for some tips on expanding my network of prospects. I am not limited to which market I want to target (insurance, retirement, investments etc.). So if anybody has any tips on where or even how I can start marketing myself, I would appreciate it.

Pick an industry, association, profession that includes the types of people you enjoy being around. Understand and focus on what is important to them. Get to know their business needs and issues. Then try to match your Insurance , Retirement and Investment products to meet their needs. You should also understand competing products from other carriers and make sure you are focusing on what's best for the client. Good luck!
