Hi! This is actually my first time posting as I'm usually a silent browser on these exciting boards. What are your thoughts on the LCF? I've completed my secondary education in the United Kingdom and am now concidering a BA in Fahion Management degree. The course structure sounds really great for me as I hope to be a fashion buyer/retailer one day. Any advice on how to prepare myself for a degree like Fashion Management and on ways to really make the most of the degree? I am particularly fond of this degree as it encourages study in a foreign language and I tend to continue my studies in Spanish and Italian. They also have study/work aboard programs which I plan to take up. Any idea of what the fashion/retail industry is like in either Madrid or Barcelona? I've worked in sales at top end retail stores in both London and asia before. Any advice at all would be most helpful. Thank you for your kind help! |

Hi miss plum,
This is Laura over here. I am also planning to take a BA in Fashion Management (in my case part time) in the London College of Fashion and I am still struggling with their interview process. Nobody seems to have enough time to go through my application and still don't know if I will be called for an interview or not. Tell me, have you been interviewed?. What did they ask you?. As I am Spanish I can tell you a little bit about my country. It's a wonderful place to live, eat, shop, party, but.....jobs are not so well paid and being into fashion means you are a little eccentric or your father/husband has enough money for you to dedicate to that "different profession". Clothes are fantastic over there, but believe me there seem to be more opportunities in London. Good luck. Laura
