In Reply To: actually, there werent any cases in the interview. it was strictly behavioral. they asked questions like how do you handle stress, give me an example of when you worked on a team and there was a problem and how did you handle that problem. they looked through my resume and asked me questions about the things on it. i would suggest knowing your resume perfectly and knowing enough about the company and the position to ask 2 or 3 insightful questions. i would say 20-25 minutes of the 45 minute interview was me asking questions and having the interviewer answer them, sort of like a discussion. the whole process is very laid back. and one more piece of advice, my interviewer said at the dinner the night before that she looks for people who she could see working on her team, people she would want to work with her. so stress that youre a team player, stress that youre a hard worker, and youll do fine.
Message: Hi Ethan, Thanks a bunch for the quick reply. I do have some follow up questions, if that's ok with you;) Should I do some hard-core studying of FT or where exactly should I look for info that is relevant for these departments or the company in general? I mean do they ask like, tell me about a couple of deals that the company has made? I have no experience of "finance interviews" so I have no idea of what the hell I'm suppose to do... Look forward to hear from you soon! And BIG THANKS, again! Btw, good luck on your second round!
