In Reply To: Dear weihenstephaner and everyone else!!! I have accepted EY in tax as a first year associate. I will finish my undergraduate in May and my gpa isn't exactly stellar. When I applied for the job, I had to compete with about half lawyers and grad students. So how can someone like myself stand out and succeed? My writing skills are great BUT I have an amazing work ethnic..an 18 hour day is a good day for me. Any advice would be really helpful!!! Thanks
Message: Conrgats on your offer Bostonkid. I'm in tax at one of the other Big 4 firms. I've been contemplating a move to E&Y. Can you tell me what they are starting you at (Ballpark figure is fine). I just wanted to see where my firm is as far as compensation.
