Hi,
I just accepetd an offer at EY TSRS-FSO as Staff-1.
Is the practice strong as compared to similar practices in other big-4's?
Is the work majorly audit or some advisory as well?
what are the kind of raises seen by people already working in this practice?
Any help would be appreciated! |

Congrats! While I can't say how strong the TSRS practice is in FSO as I am in Detroit, our area practice is currently leads the other 3 in people, revenue and growth.
As a Staff you will get to experience both lines of work. From February to July we are typically staffed on Channel 2 (advisory) jobs, while August through January is our audit 'busy season.' Once you get a broader range of experience and knowledge, you will have some input on the jobs you're staffed on.
In our area, raises are based both on area performance, and individual performance. While the % increase is pretty high (up to 9% for Staff 1 to Staff 2) your responsibilities within the firm also increase - both client and internal responsibilities.
I think you'll find that the firm is very rewarding to it's high performers - those who accept the accountability.
