I read something on another Vault Reports board about a company (random house) that wants well bred ivy leaguers. I did not go to an ivy league school, and i probably don't fit the "well bred" thing, but i was an "A" student at a good state school *(SUNY), and i have been working in publishing - as an assistant - since I graduated last May. i think that there are lots of opportunities as long as you're a hard worker. So this is to encourage people that they can get in, even if it takes an extra effort.
