In Reply To: Your points are all valid and I agree to a certain level. But you're being a bit tainted - and, believe me, I am not captain happy - I just see this particular bunch of moves as a mental cleansing and not for the money. A lot of the people who were escorted to the door were no longer (if ever) contributing any creative or giving their people room to be creative. And there are still some dinosaurs who can't think different here. And, yes, I know the company is data driven, but with no creatives and all marketing they'd be screwed. So I believe that GT is not some familiar of DK's but has a design on making creative finally happen here. Maybe I'm just being hopeful, but time will obviously tell.
Message: But from what I've seen, that's how it is. I'd like to believe that GT is different but I haven't seen it and I believe the ecosystem is hostile to true creative/ Is this an agency or a consultancy? You'd get many different reads on that question. Name one other agency that is similarly conflicted? Trust me, I'm no misanthrope. I work with some smart, talented peole but they're dwarfed by an army of Wookies.
