Digitas/Boston's fate? I'd tie it directly to GM. Boston isn't the real heart of the agency, New York is. Boston hasn't added a significant one on years and if I believe the NY Times ( you know Dwatch, it's the newspaper you relieve yourself upon a couple times a day), GM is in deep doodoo. The ranting on this site, which from my casual reading seems to come from all disciplines within the agency, is more of an indictment of the lack of real leadership and the cult of "me first, you suck" which even a casual Digitas employee feels everyday in this office. GT isn't remarkable to me in any way. He's not a demon but not a savior either. The politics are inescapable here and they substitute for substance quite often. Even John Marshall bailed, despite DK's protestations, cause he'd have enough. Clearly, you love this environment Dwatch. I find you as whiney as the posters you lambast. I lament that the agency culture is as twisted as it it is. It would be a much better place if it wasn't. I'd love to be able to purge this place and wipe out so many of our "leaders". We'd all be much happier. GT is just another moth to the overpaid flame. |

That's dtas culture folks! Don't forget your kevlar vest and flak jacket. Love you today, crucify you tomorrow.
BrIng it on Dwatch. There's enough piss, vinegar and discord here for everyone.
You too GT. Too bad everyone's not swooning for you. Wasn't the way you figured the script would run. Sweetheart, get me rewrite. Hey could you include a walk on for the guy in the fake cowboy boots...
