And they're usually pretty substantial - anywhere from 10% of their salaries on up. Not much in the way of non-salary incentives for the underlings (without whom the place would crumble) so negotiate your base salary well as you can't expect much more than a 3% increase annually and then only if you're a stellar employee. |

Excelent point W. Salary negotian is a must because any future increases will be minimal - Unless you are just seeking the experience, and plan on leaving in 6 mos to a year.
