Believe in yourself. (In your own career. In your own talent. I worked at Digitas and have left and gone on to bigger and better things at an agency in NYC. In retrospect, it's sad and not surprising to see that the bitching is still going strong.
Here's my take, which is based on experience and a successful career, opportunity really isn't anybody's ball. Digitas is filled with unbelievable arrogance about its own place in the digital universe and the primacy of its staff over all others-- really, really dumb. There are terrific people and agencies out there that are much more together than Digits give them credit for. The self hatred and negative comments about former and ex employees is stupid, insipid and clueless.
Whoever GT is, he's just another Creative person. No more, no less working in a culture that values decks over creative.
Believe in yourselfand take DK's Kool Aid for what it iis. Life is too short to get caught up in the bullshit.
You are your own Messiah. No one else is coming to save you. Last if all DK. |

This place used to be creative and full of humanity. No more. GT has ruined the soul of this place with his "inside alliances" and superiority complex. He behaves as if he knows it all - when he is as limited as the last and next EXCD. Unfortunately no one dares say it to his face for fear of losing your job, and get turned in for not drinking your daily kool-aid.
So sad. MB, are you watching what is really going on here?
And why is HR starting to rule the roost here? Who's really in charge?
