I have watched you weasels shoot from the weeds for years, and have up to now refused to stoop to joining your "conversation."
I'll be brief:GT may be the best thing that has ever happened to this place. He believes in the primacy of ideas and he knows how to go after them. He seems also to know how to build smart inside alliances, bring along upper management and make people feel like they can do big things. He sees the opportunity in front of us in an age when traditional media is in freefall and it really is anybody's ball.
You're dead wrong about this guy. You'll see. Morons. |

Believe in yourself. (In your own career. In your own talent. I worked at Digitas and have left and gone on to bigger and better things at an agency in NYC. In retrospect, it's sad and not surprising to see that the bitching is still going strong.
Here's my take, which is based on experience and a successful career, opportunity really isn't anybody's ball. Digitas is filled with unbelievable arrogance about its own place in the digital universe and the primacy of its staff over all others-- really, really dumb. There are terrific people and agencies out there that are much more together than Digits give them credit for. The self hatred and negative comments about former and ex employees is stupid, insipid and clueless.
Whoever GT is, he's just another Creative person. No more, no less working in a culture that values decks over creative.
Believe in yourselfand take DK's Kool Aid for what it iis. Life is too short to get caught up in the bullshit.
You are your own Messiah. No one else is coming to save you. Last if all DK.
