Benefits:
Health is covered 100% in network, no copay, no nothin'... (up to a max per year depending on the services, but the max is quite high- never heard of people maxing out).
Bonuses sound great (20-50% of salary depending on level and performance) but recently have been paid out much lower.
ESPP locks you into a price for 2 year (you can relock every six months if the price drops).
Work hours - like any other consulting company, will vary- I've had weekend work... I've also had 40 hour weeks.
PTO/Vacation - 20 days/year
Atmosphere - Competitive, but friendly. Very few new-analyst hires... most of Diamond consulting workforce is late 20's and 30's. You don't see a pyramid structure at all here- in fact, ironically the workforce distribution looks more like a diamond. :)
I haven't seen much differences in people between the vertical alignments, but I can't really say since I've only worked in one vertical. From what I can tell though, the work we do is pretty similar.
Profile alignments differences are more distinct. You have your post-MBA crowd which is very strategy/operations oriented and then you have your experienced tech-hires which are very IT-focused. You will find projects with a mix of both (strategy guys are doing financial modeling and planning for an IT blueprint/implementation that the tech guys are defining/architecting)... you'll also find projects that are extreme one way (pure strategy or product development) or the other (architectural/vendor analysis).

That's great info...just a few follow-ups:
on the health coverage almost sounds too good to be true....is that with a major carrier (BC/BS, ect.), HMO or what?
What have been bonuses in recent past?
On the 'diamond structure' - I imagine that means mostly managers - frankly - the company i'm with now is manager heavy, and that sometimes doesn't work well with work distribution (ie managers working on tasks/projects that don't maximize thier capabilities) - how does it work at DCI?
