Okay, I've been searching the board for a while now. Can someone tell me what to expect from the gents in the credit analyst department in NYC for final rounds? Or just general DB final rounds. I've been hearing some conflicting reports on what to expect. I'd greatly appreciate any insight. Thanks. |

for global markets was 6 interviews. The interviewers each had their own style. A few of the guys grilled me w/ brain teasers and financial questions, while the rest did a total personality/fitness interview, and one guy just wanted to chat (probably to see if he liked me).
the reason you're hearing conflicting reports (which I did too) is because I don't think there's a standarized interview or rubric that they use to rate you on. Each interviewer asks the questions that he deems right, and looks for whatever it is that HE wants to see in the candidate.
This actually makes sense, in my opinion, because instead of getting asked the same exact questions 6 times and being judged on the same criteria 6 times, each interviewer is discerning something a little different each time.
